BTCCSquare news:

Florida federal court ruled in favor of Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary, granting him $2.8 million in damages against cryptocurrency personality Ben 'BitBoy' Armstrong. The judgment stems from Armstrong’s March 2025 social media posts falsely linking O’Leary to a 2019 boating fatality—allegations previously dismissed by authorities.

Armstrong’s posts included O’Leary’s private contact information, triggering harassment campaigns. The court recognized reputational harm, emotional distress, and punitive damages in its default ruling after Armstrong failed to mount a defense.
